I ordered these and another pair in black for my birthday and was very excited.
I got an unexpected surprise when they were delivered. One Gilda had webs in all the cutouts. Gross and unacceptable for new shoes. Eww.
Contacted customer service via email and they did not even apologize, they seemed irritated. They also didn’t tell me what the best way to clean the webs out of the wood when I asked.
I was only told they were “fumigated so nothing would be alive”. Now I get to clean this gross stuff out of my new shoe. Yay for me.
They should have said “I understand, would you like an exchange?” and “I’m so sorry this happened”.
They also shipped my 2 orders together and would not credit me for the extra shipping charge I had paid. I had wanted them to ship separately, so I paid for shipping twice. I didn’t want my expensive shoes walking off my Chicago theft prone porch.
Again, no apology. What the heck? I just dropped a few hundred dollars on 2 pairs of your shoes.
